  Tame animals in the New System ™

  so i was thinking about this whole idea of animals being tame and getting along with each other and how the wts depicts this in their artwork.

  i'm having a major issue with this.

  14,500,000 results for St George of England. His history, folklore, pubs by that name and also schools.

  I googled my real name and came up with a murderer, died a few years ago and it was only after his death that the evidence for his crime surfaced. The creepy thing was his picture, he looked very much like me! My wife said I could pass for him easily. When I was young I lived not too far from him so maybe a relative.......

  List of Branch Offices being closed?

  hi, i've tried searching for some recent posts on rumours or otherwise of branch offices being closed but cannot easily find anything.

  does anyone readily have a list of the ones earmarked for closure?

  i did read about central america but also recently some european too.

  dear randy, early this year i requested disassociation from the org and have been meaning to publish some sort of statement.

  i was a member for over 33 years and partook of the emblems.

  being an older widow it took some deliberation and guts to make the move but am currently very happy with the change.

  That is very interesting, they made no attempt prove 607 BCE as the correct date. Just accept it because we say so!

  I imagine perhaps if you had Lou Gehrig's disease and were confined to bed with a breathing assist machine --- that maybe you would be excused from field service?

  Good grief NO! Think of all the nurses and doctors that would visit you, plus the meter readers, delivery men, tradesmen, passers-by; ALL these need witnessing to.

  I think probably the only ones excused from field service are the GB.

  from what i've noticed 'wordly' teens or very young adults won't follow jw's.most teens/young jw's are born in,so boasting about the theocratic youth is actually boasting about jw children lol..

  In respect of the refusal of blood transfusion, the applicant association submits that there are no religious sanctions for a Jehovah's Witness who chooses to accept blood transfusion and that, therefore, the fact that the religious doctrine of Jehovah's Witnesses is against blood transfusion cannot amount to a threat to public health.

  I would personally like miseryloveselders (or any other current JW) to comment. Was this a dishonest claim by the Watchtower?

  YES. However as I understand it, if a JW has a blood transfusion, they are not disfellowshipped. They are assumed to have disassociated themselves however by taking a course contrary to the teachings of the Bible. Then end result, shunning, is the same. The difference is only on the report sent to the society.
